子供との会話「もう勘弁して！」

Hi there,

うちのチビが2歳を過ぎたころ

私の口グセがうつってしまったことがありました

その言葉は「もう勘弁して」。

息子の口からその言葉を聞いた時はもうショックで・・・

その後、使わないように気を付けていましたが、1，2か月続いた気がします。

ちなみに息子が言うと「し→ち」になり、

「カンベンちて！」になってました（笑）

今回はその「勘弁して」を英語でいってみましょう

この「勘弁して」はあきれて言う「勘弁して」です。

勘弁して= give me a break.

「give me」を「gimme」とも表現することもあります。

では例文をみていきましょ～！

・Give me a break !

勘弁して！

・You did it again? Give me a break !

またやったの？勘弁してよ！

・Give me a break ! I need to reschedule again and again !

もう勘弁してよ～！

またスケジュール組みなおさなきゃいけないじゃん・・・

☆rescheduleで、予定を再度立てる。

　 again and againで、また更に。

なんだか考えているとネガティブな気持ちになってきた（笑）

この「give me a break」は直訳だと「休憩をくれ」ですが

もし実際休憩が欲しいと頼みたいときはどうすればいいのか？

その場合はコレ

休憩もらえる？→ Can I take a break?

私が小さいときには某チョコレートのCMで「Have a break?」

というのがありました、この「break」が休憩という意味になります。

「take」と「give」は大きな違いがありますね。

さてそろそろバレンタインですね～

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the images aren't loading correctly. I'm not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I've tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.
