この間、チビから母の日プレゼントを頂きました～！

しかも初めて！！感動！( ´艸｀)

旦那が父の日でこの感動を味わうかと思うとワクワクします

今回の単語は「この間」

日本語でも使用頻度の高い言葉

英語で表現するとこうなります

この間→　the other day.

よ～く聞くこの表現

意味を知るまでは「そのまた他の日」だと思っていました・・・

では例文をみていこ～！

・I went to Nagoya the other day.

先日名古屋へ行ったよ。

☆この「the other day」はただ文頭か文末につけるだけ！

・The other day there was a super market.

先日はスーパーがあったよ。

☆there was は「there is～がある」の過去形。

・We went to the restaurant the other day.

この間そのレストラン行ったわ～。

☆the other day先日→この間、とも言えますね。

・I got my first mother's day present the other day.

この間初めて母の日のプレゼントもらったんだ。

☆I got my first ～で「初めて～をもらった・手に入れた」。

・The other day he said that.

先日彼は言ってたよ。

・The other day I've heard it.

この間聞いたよ。

「the other day」は過去の事なので

もちろん過去形の文とセットになります。
