得意・上手を英語で言おう。

今回は「得意」「不得意」

be good at＋動詞ing又は名詞

＝得意・下手

例文をみてみましょう

・I'm good at cooking. 料理が得意・上手

・We're good at English. 英語が得意・上手

・He and his son are good at playing catch.

彼と息子はキャッチボールが得意・上手。

play catchでキャッチボールをする、という意味です。

否定文にすると「苦手（不得意）」「下手」

・I'm not good at coking.

料理が苦手（不得意）・下手

・We're not good at English.

英語が苦手（不得意）・下手

・He and his son are not good at playing catch.

彼と息子はキャッチボールが苦手（不得意）・苦手

昔の得意・上手なことを言うなら過去形にするだけ！

・I was good at playing soccer.

前はサッカー得意だったなぁ。

・My wife was good at spicy food.

以前、嫁は辛いものが得意だった。

What is your good at? あなたの得意なことはなんですか？
