夏バテ in English.

台風ですが、いかがお過ごしですか～？

ここ愛知ではとっても強風！ですが雨はボチボチなかんじ。

これ以上ひどくならないといいなぁ。

暑さも少しだけお休みな本日ですが

今回の英語は暑さにともなうアレ「夏バテ」

英語で表現するとどうなるのか・・・？

夏バテになる= get tired from the summer heat.

the summer heatが「夏の暑さ」

get tiredが「疲れる」です。

では例文を見ていきましょ～

・I get tired from the summer heat.

夏バテになる。

・I got tired from the summer heat.

夏バテになった。

☆getを過去形got にすると「なった」と表現できます。

・I got tired from the summer heat last year.

昨年は夏バテになった。

・Don't get tired from the summer heat.

夏バテにならないようにね。

☆Don't + 動詞で、「～しないでね」。

・I don't want him to get the summer heat.

彼が夏バテにならないでほしい。

☆Aさん want Bさん to ～で「～をしてほしい」

上の英文はその否定文

Aさん don't want Bさん to～で「～をしないでほしい」

暑さが続くと保育園にいるチビの体を案じてしまいます。

・Did you get the summer heat?

夏バテになった？

・I didn't get the summer heat.

夏バテになってないよ。

・I don't feel like eating because of the summer heat.

夏バテで(暑さで）食欲がない。

☆don't ( doesn't)　like 動詞ingで「～する気分じゃない」

because of～で「～のせいで→暑さのせいで」
